Even with his grand title, from my point of view he is just the old man of a childhood friend.

After me, Forna, and Musashi reached the forest and walked inside a bit, we arrived at a slightly open area. And the ones standing there was Tyler and Dora who was tilting his head in his small dragon form.

The one who first opened their mouth and say those words is Tyler, but as I thought, Forna who was next to me won’t just stay silent.

However, before I able to let out my answer, Tyler already answered it.

“They are a life form made by the divine race. They give life unto objects, and even bestowed them with feelings and the capability to learn, moreover they also gave them the ability to evolve, they are the divine race’s weapons.” (Tyler)

No well, even if you say it with that [wanting to keep him] way of saying it, the part where you react as if you’ve already investigated things out makes me feel bothered.

“This one you called Dora is too, one of the weapons they keep on researching and develop while the divine race’s emissaries and descendants are observing the world. But unfortunately though, he got caught by the humans. Honestly, when I saw him on that screen at the time when the Empire got attacked, I was scared out of my wits.”(Tyler)

Against my lacking response, Tyler instead made an expression as if saying [this talk is a bit too early].

“Velt, what kind of journey are you having?” (Forna)

“Uhm, lord? Errmm, Dora is that right, Dora is Dora and, the gods?” (Musashi)

Forna seems a bit surprised..... Hey, Musashi! How the heck you can’t follow the conversation! You’re even more stupid than I thought!

“By doing this not only we will be able to have counter strategy against the divine race’s weapons, but also pull in the sky race who has the possibility to unseal the divine race, enabling us to eliminate some insecurity factors. Velt, I’d like to entrust the mission of convincing them to you and that girl named Eljela.” (Tyler)

Offering Dora and take control of the sky race? These are the words Tyler is trying to say.

“Wait, wha- what do you mean with that? I don’t really understand it though!” (Dora)

Dora went into panic by the words Tyler uttered. However, on the other hand I became much calm down instead, making me regain my cool.

“That’s why I said, I ain’t doing  it. Dora is my underling so I won’t let him off my hands. And, I know no nothing about taking control of Sky World.”(Velt)

“Velt. I won’t say anything about you not participating in the war, but this is no longer the situation for you to just do things as you want. Frankly, I’m also feeling sorry to force to do this, as you are the son of my best friend and my own son’s friend, I still feel that you’re still that cute mischievous rascal. Though, maybe Mackey and Manney just chose you because of their mood, but at this moment me and the others are convinced that there’s no one else more qualified than you.” (Tyler)

What he said sounds reasonable. There’s nothing wrong with it, if for instance, there’s some stranger that knows that someone like me exist, they must think that it’s only the right thing to do.

But the current me can’t do it. Because, there’s something strange that I feel I’m catching about in my head.

“Tyler...... there’s something I wanna ask you for a bit.” (Velt)

“That’s right. The organization experienced a tremendous change and possesses ample financial capability, by having connections with the demons and demihumans it can control the wars in the world, and by regulating the balance of war, the divine race won’t be able to easily reach out their hands, making us able to maintain the military powers of the world. Then, we will search for those that are connected with the divine race revival, and depending on the circumstances, we bring them down. This organization was made for those purposes.” (Tyler)

I see, as he uses the means like Kagami does, he became hated, and got corrupted.

However, the result of that makes the strength of the organization became evident, and made it’s name spread wide to the world. And then, they became aware of my existence who has earned the trust and connections to the key people of the demons and demihumans, and came to realization that there were many things to be done for the sake of accomplishing their goals.

“Tyler. There’s another two things that I’d like to ask.” (Velt)

That’s right, I’m not mistaking it. And since I don’t mistake it, I became curious.

“What are you hiding? And, by whose orders are you moving?” (Velt)

“...............!” (Tyler)

Tyler got stuck in his words.

“Wha- what do you mean, Velt! Tyler is moving by someone’s order?” (Forna)

TL note: I’m sure at Chapter 127 I wrote it as king instead of country here. But it was my mistake, the right word is country instead.

“......That’s.........” (Tyler)

“Or what you’re trying to say is, as I became the leader, its gonna be fine if I also become the king of that kingdom? Not as the president or vice president.” (Velt)

Aah, I’m glad. Tyler is an honest person. He hides stuff but he is bad at lying. 

He didn’t say [That’s right] to support my words. And that’s exactly why I won’t let go of this.

Human Continent, Six Holy Knights and the kings they serve under, and also the Holy King who preaches of the truth of the world. There’s been a lot of things happening so when I first heard it, it just went through my ears but it’d be different now.

Honestly I don’t really care about much of things but I tried asking since I got interested as our talk goes on.

And then, I was convinced.

“So, Tyler. I can agree that Dora is a weapon from divine race. But, don’t you think rather than investigating this guy..... it’s better to just go and search for them using him instead?” (Velt)

“.......................”

“Tyler. The reason you want me to hand over Dora to you...... is it really for making countermeasure against divine race’s weapon?” (Velt)

And then......

“Stop right there, Velt.” 

“.......................hah?” (Velt)

Well this is unexpected.

“Ho, Howe!” 

“Bro!” (Dora)

“Y- you, what are you trying to do to lord degozaru!” (Musashi)

This development is out of expectations. She pointed the sharp edge of a sword to my back.

“Bastard, Howe, the heck you’re thinking.....” (Velt)

It was Howe. With her eyes cold and merciless as always. And it’s not just a threat, she’s ready to actually stab me when the moment comes.

The moment I was about to step away from Howe, Tyler spoke. Causing Howe’s body to sway largely.

And then, everyone fall into silence. 

Is everything just gonna end like this, with us unable to ask anything, without us able to know anything?

I wasn’t able to notice anything for all this while until the voice was heard.

“How come!” (Tyler)

“Wha. What’s the meaning of this!” (Forna)

“Who is that guy!” (Dora)

Since when that guy been there? I mean, how? Didn’t he already go home?”

“Me intended to pay back my friend by ending the war but because of me’s strength was lacking it fell short, in the end me have to trouble my friend. Me has been waiting for the chance to say apologize for that and a bit of saying hello, that’s all.” 

The demon king really has invisible appearance to it.

“Hello, my friend.” 

“Heck, I thought you went home already?” (Velt)

“Ooh, that kind of sad thing is a no, Ryuuma.”

He’s wearing black pants and black jacket, with white shirt underneath it. On his head he wears a black hat, as if wanting to hide his protruding horns. With his guitar in one hand he is full fledge rock n’ roll.

“Rock Demon King Kishin! Why are you here!” 

The one who is standing there is Milco.

“With this time’s matters, me made a big shocking to my country with the big money me made. As me unable to defeat the humans, me got judged to be a person who got swayed by money instead. Me then lost me’s standing and passed on the baton to the next generation.” (Kishin)

“I see.... however, it can be said that the world was saved because of your tolerant decision.” (Tyler)

“.............fuh.......” (Kishin)

At that moment, Milco lightly stroke his guitar and pointed at Tyler.

Milco precisely speak out the point that was hazy in my mind.

That’s right, isn’t he already achieved his objective? The humans don’t perish, the war was evaded, and there should be no big war for some time.  Despite so, why I suddenly have to be I promoted to be the leader as soon as possible, why we have to take control of the Sky World,  is Tyler in that much hurry?

“Hey, Master Tyler. You talked about it, the power balance of the three races has collapsed and the world’s power is dwindling, the divine race will appear and destroy all life, taking over the world into their hands..... it seems that’s what the Holy King said but..... why the Holy King know of such a thing?” (Kishin)

And then, Milco said.

“Me also want to know it..... Despite me have battled the humans for many years, the Holy King never once shows his face.... Who is this Holy King actually?” (Kishin)

Tyler and Howe’s expression stiffened to those words.

“And, you guys......do you actually trying to prevent the divine race resurrection?” (Kishin)

“What.... do you....”

“In the first place, for the holy knights who use holy magic to actually try to prevent the resurrection of divine race, that sounds crazy.” (Kishin)

Milco’s question was something that has already surpassed my current thoughts and already stepping on an even further domain ahead.
